Real Detail Service Agreement

Please Read Our Service Agreement Below

Thank you for booking with Real Detail. Please review the terms and conditions outlined below. By using our services, you (“Client” or “You”) agree to these terms, which form a legal agreement between you and Real Detail (“Contractor,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”).

Cancellation Policy

  • 48+ hours notice: No fee
  • 24-48 hours notice: $80 fee
  • Less than 24 hours notice: $150 fee
  • No call/No show: Full service amount charged up to $250
  • Vehicle not present or unable to be detailed upon arrival: Full service amount charged up to $250

Real Detail reserves the right to cancel or reschedule based on staffing, traffic, weather, or equipment issues. Gift certificate appointments follow the same cancellation policy.

Late Arrival Policy

Real Detail may arrive up to 120 minutes late due to tight schedules or traffic delays. We ask for your patience as we work to provide the highest level of service.

Vehicle Access, Operation & Service Quality

By booking our services, you agree to provide access and keys to your vehicle so we can perform detailing and other auto-related services. We strive for high-quality results, aiming for a clean, damage-free exterior and spotless interior. Any concerns must be communicated within 24 hours of service completion. Real Detail is not responsible for issues raised after this period or if you do not participate in the final inspection.

Accidents, Pre-Existing Conditions & Limitation of Liability

Real Detail will document any pre-existing damage but is not responsible for these conditions. In the rare case of damage under our care, we will notify you. Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Fees, Service Terms & Payment

The fee for our services is the “Total Cost” indicated at the time of booking. If the job exceeds the estimate by over 20%, we will confirm any additional charges with you. Payment is due upon completion via Credit Card, Debit, or Cash. Late payments incur a 10% fee plus 0.5% daily interest until paid. You agree to pay any collection costs if applicable.

Access Requirements

You are responsible for providing access to water and electricity for mobile detailing services. Failure to do so will result in a $150 cancellation fee.

Safety

Please disclose any hazardous substances inside the vehicle before we begin detailing. You will be held responsible for any health or safety risks associated with the condition of your vehicle.

Feedback, Termination & Governing Law

We welcome your feedback and encourage you to contact us at [email protected]. By booking our services, you grant Real Detail permission to use photos of your vehicle for marketing purposes unless you object in writing. The laws of North Carolina govern this agreement.

Mandatory Gratuity Fee

If you do not participate in the final inspection at the end of the service, a mandatory gratuity fee of 10% of the total service cost will be added to the invoice.

Additional Terms

  • Real Detail does not guarantee specific outcomes or results.
  • Payment covers the time and effort dedicated to servicing your vehicle, not the achievement of specific results.
  • If the job takes more than 20% longer than expected, we may charge an additional $50 per half-hour with your approval.
  • All sales are final.

By booking Real Detail’s services, you confirm that you are authorized to enter into this agreement and are 18 years of age or older. You agree to indemnify Real Detail from any claims arising from your lack of authority to enter into this agreement.
